Chime Long Resort, China

Happy Thursday! Many of you have mentioned that you enjoy when I share photos of our travels, so today I have a travel post. This week my husband and son have off of school for term break, so we took a little trip into China. Just a three hour bus ride from us is an amazing hotel/amusement park complex. I was at Disney World ages ago in FL, but it really seemed similar to me. Amazing hotel surround my five theme parks… We only stayed two nights, but you could make a much longer trip out of it. We arrived Sunday around noon and make ourselves at home in our amazing safari room.

The boys wasted no time in acting like they were at home.

 You know you’re at a hotel in China when this is in your room.
 The first afternoon we enjoyed the beautiful hotel and pool.

 We saved money by enjoying the hotel breakfast buffet every morning {included} but then we packed food for all our other meals… The only other thing we purchased on our trip was an ice cream treat! Here are the boys enjoying our instant dinner!
That first night we attending the International Circus … It was amazing! Hundreds of performs and lots of animals… WOW!
Monday we had tickets for the waterpark. Good: the park was nearly empty, no lines all day! Bad: it was raining on and off and not super warm! I think it was worth it though for the no lines.
 This fountain was timed with classical music, it was so much fun!

 Bryan and I took turns waiting with the kids while the other went down some of the big kid rides… SO.MUCH.FUN.

The buffet breakfast was SOOO good! Nothing like noodles for breakfast {asian style!}
 This was the view while we were eating… Flamingos!
 We read the boys their first “chapter” book on this trip… It think they are hooked!
 Our third and final day we visited the Animal Safari Theme Park…
 Everything was out in the open…free range type of enclosures… we were able to get up so close…

 and… no animal park would be complete without these amazing life size robotic dinosaurs…{ha!} so cheesy…. but the boys loved it… they even made noise!

 We got to ride through an open safari type area… lots of free range animals…

 Of course we had to stop at the kids paradise area before we caught the bus back to Hong Kong.

and thats it! I’ve got another fall project later tonight!
