I had a ton of inspiration for Christmas ornaments this year, so I’ve decided to spend this whole week sharing ideas for easy ornaments. I’m starting with this fun video tutorial for Perler bead Christmas ornaments. These are simple and fun and look super cute when finished.
I will say that even though “technically” kids can do this, I was the only one with the patience to sit and sort all the beads into the colors I wanted. We have the huge IKEA tub of beads, so they are all mixed up. Once I had them sorted the kids wanted to be part of the action again – ha!

The more beads you put in the cookie cutter, the thicker the ornament will be. You want to try and have even layers and you will need at least 2 beads thick, if not more.
I think the gingerbread man is cute, although maybe in a slightly creepy way.
The snowflake is my favorite. It looks light and flaky – like a real snowflake!
