I’ve had a lovely week off the blog! I’d like to say I was itching to post, but in reality I was much to busy opening gifts, going to Church, playing games with family, after Christmas sale shopping (I love Kohl’s!) eating amazing treats, and ignoring all the football on tv. I hope your week was filled with much the same.
Today I’m sharing a gift I made for my niece. Its a simple jumper and was easy to make. I traced a tank for the top and just drew out the bottom. I lined the top (so I wouldn’t have to figure out how to finish the edges) and I like how the lining compliments the top. Its corduroy, so should be nice for the winter.
I put three pin tucks at the bottom. The ribbon around the neckline it just sewed on top. I was planning on the closure being in the back, but when I found the flower button, I seemed like it should be in front. The back and front are identical, so actually it could go either way. My sister in law says it fits well, but I need to get a picture from her! My niece is nearly five, so I would say its around a 5T. If anyone is interested I can post the pattern. Let me know…
