Since I became a mom more than six years ago, I’ve been a coffee drinker… I made it 27 years without, then suddenly… I have to have it! {must be those kids!} I will admit that I like the more “fluffy” coffee drinks… I don’t take it black, and I love flavored coffee. I love that my Keurig coffee maker makes tasty flavored coffee without much effort. And once summer hits I’m all about iced coffee, and the Keurig is super handy for that too. I enjoy that I can make iced coffee and iced tea in my coffee maker. Today I’m sharing a power frappuccino recipe that is more than just an iced coffee. With fruit and protein this iced drink is a great way to start your morning.
I had a very fruitful trip to Walmart and walked away with not only the iced coffee I was looking for, but also this super cute plastic jar too. They have these plastic tumblers in the summer seasonal section of the store, so fun!
I decided to use the Donut Shop Nutty Hazelnut #BrewOverIce to make this power frappuccino recipe. Walmart has an amazing selection of Brew Over Ice coffees and tea. #BrewItUp this summer with k-cups!
Have you ever made coffee ice cubes? They are SO wonderful for making blended icey drinks. You will need to make some for this frappe recipe! Choose your coffee flavor… I used the Nutty Hazelnut from the Donut Shop. You will want to prep the ice cubes the night before you plan to make this.
Place a plastic glass 1/3 full of ice in your Keurig.
Because the ice will add liquid, brew the smallest size, 6 oz.
Once the coffee has melted the ice, pour it into ice trays. Freeze overnight.
Now you are ready for the Power Frappuccino Recipe:
Iced Coffee Power Frappuccino Recipe

There you go! An iced coffee that can double as a breakfast smoothie. Great coffee flavor and a meal on the go all in one. The nutty flavor of this coffee worked perfectly with the other ingredients I added, and the raspberries turned it a pretty purple color.
I’ll be starting many more mornings this summer with this tasty iced coffee. What is your favorite summer iced drink? Do you have a favorite k cup flavor?
Did you know Keurig has it’s own recycling program for use with K-Cups? The Grounds To Grow program offers a way for K-Cup users to return used cups for processing that separates grounds for compost and plastics for re-use. Learn more about this program HERE.
