I’ve really been inspired by other bloggers to make more clothes for my son, it’s so easy! My latest creation is a one piece romper made from IKEA curtain material. It’s perfect! It took me one afternoon to make and I used a 24 mth romper to copy for the pattern. I only have sew on snaps, so decided to go with buttons for closure. I will have to do the dressing and changing though, since my husband really dislikes buttons on baby clothes. :o) The weak point is definitely the button holes, but if you don’t look too closely, they will be fine.
Looking forward to seeing you around the blog…. don’t be a stranger!

when you guys were young, I often went to teh lands end outlet and bought bigger shirts, especially turtle neck ones, and redid them like you did the pjs and used the cuffs for the ribbing. worked great and for $1 you had a turtle neck. good going em, they are so cute.

I was afraid of using the pound on snaps – but found a cool tool to make it easier. Don’t know if you have heard of it, but I’ll try to track down a website that shows you what I’m talking about. I used it alot when I was making Riley toddler clothes.

This is so cute! I love the material and you made it look so neat! (Who cares about buttonholes as long as they are holey 🙂
