Boys and their Toys: Marvel Mashups
This post is part of the Marvel Super Hero Mashers Blog Tour and I have been compensated by Marvel Mashups for my participation in this campaign. This tour is part of the Mom It Forward Blogger Network.
What is it about boys and superheros? Before my boys even had seen a cartoon or movie with these characters, they were talking about superheros, saving the day, and beating the bad guy! I think its just part of being a boy!
I made these simple superhero capes for my boys a few years ago, you can see the full cape tutorial here.
So, when I was given the chance to review the new Marvel Super Hero Mashers I was super excited. It doesn’t get more boy than around here! {ha!}
We were sent the Hulk and Hawkeye to review. My Nephew just had a birthday, so we gave him these two heroes for his birthday. Yep, BOYS love Superheros!
The best part about these mashers is that you can create your OWN superheros.. combine just two {like we did} or four or five… the possibilities are endless and so is the boy fun! The pieces come apart and snap together easy enough for kids to do it themselves. Name your hero and get playing!
Head over to the Mashers website to get all the details and see all the heroes they have, plus discover the endless possibilities when you make your own #MyMashUp. What will you name your hero?
Linked one or more of the parties on my link party page HERE
Looking forward to seeing you around the blog…. don’t be a stranger!

Too cute!! My son would probably love these. He’s such a super hero fan. I don’t know how he knows them all.

I know, I don’t understand how kids pick up all the knowledge they do! My boys knew all the Thomas the Train engine names before they were two ;o)

These are really cool, we’re huge comic book fans and these would be the perfect birthday gift for our God son this year. Your boys looks like they are really loving them!
Emily Thompson says
Yes, they make a great birthday gift! I think they would appeal to a wide age range as well!

They are SO fun! LC has two; Thor and Captain America, and he loves mixing them up to make “Power Man”…

I’ve got two little boys who would love these so much especially my nearly nine year old. My husband would also like these plus it would be a great way for daddies to get involved in play time. If only I could teach them to clean up after themselves ha ha
Emily Thompson says
I think thats the great thing with these little guys… they are great for all ages! Even grown men ;o) HAHA!
