Fresh, fun and flavorful, summer food makes me smile and my family happy. This past weekend we had a little picnic before a dip in the pool and these mini burgers with chili cheese  dipping sauce were a huge hit. This burger dipping sauce is tangy and full of flavor, it went great with these mini burgers and would also be great on a full size burger…. {it was even great on crackers!!!}

I do need to tell you that the chili cheese burger dipping sauce was a bit spicy for the kids.. but it was perfect for the adults. You could put in less chili, but I thought it was great as is. You can pick up all the Kraft ingredients at Walmart, plus anything else you need for your picnic.

Chili Cheese Burger Dipping Sauce {with mini burgers!}

Chili Cheese Burger Dipping Sauce {with mini burgers!}

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Chili Powder 
  • 1/2 cup Philly Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Miracle Whip
  • 1 cup Kraft Shreds
  • sliced Kraft naturals

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese in the micro, or leave it sit out for awhile.
  2. Stir in the chili powder and Miracle Whip
  3. Mix in the shredded cheese and heat in the mircrowave for about 30 sec. or until melted.
  4. Chill before serving to let flavors set.
  5. Burgers can be dipped right in the sauce or it can be spread on the burgers first

I used a lid to cut rounds from slices of bread to create the buns. Place a slice of cheese on top and stick a toothpick through it all.

Cut up a watermelon, throw together your favorite salad, and you have a great picnic spread that the whole family will love. What are you cooking up this summer?
