Inside: a fun and easy grilled meatball kebabs made with meatless meatballs and fun dipping sauce.
Since we moved to Colorado almost two years ago, one of my favorite things is my local Sprouts store. I’m even more excited because I recently discovered Garnein meatless products {perfect for me – a long time veg!} Gardein products have amazing taste and texture {I no longer have to sacrifice these to lead a plant based lifestyle} and I’ve loved everything I have tried. Today I’m sharing a yummy summer recipe with these grilled meatball kebabs {with meatless meatballs!}

Other tasty grilled meals/recipes you may enjoy
I’ve been a vegetarian for more than 20 years and honestly have avoided “meat substitutes” for most of those years… They just don’t taste that great, and don’t miss meat. However, this summer I discovered Gardein products and I’m totally loving them. This is a product I 100% personally recommend you try!
Not only do Gardein products taste great, but they are always vegan, great for enjoying your favorite foods in a ways that’s better for you and have so much variety. I also love that they have no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Plus, you will find that Gardein products have less saturated fat and no cholesterol vs. meat and are lighter on the plant than livestock production. {and most important…. I love the taste!} I also tried the crispy chick’n sliders on my last trip and I’ve been enjoying them for lunch all week.
What to put on your Meatball Kebabs-
Here is what I put on my kebabs.. you of course can put anything you like, but these were tasty choices!
- I used metal kebab sticks –
- Gardein meatless meatballs – I defrosted just enough to push the stick through. Do not thaw all the way.
- Pre-cooked pasta {large noodles you can put on a stick}
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Mushrooms
- Fresh Mozzarella balls {if you are vegan you could replace with a vegan cheese or eliminate and add more veggies.}
Load up your kebabs will all the good food you can fit, then place right on a preheated grill. Heat to low/medium heat. I put a bit of cooking spray on my grill first. Cook for 15-20 min. I had a couple of Mozzarella balls melt off, but most stayed on and were amazing when warm. Grill until the mushrooms and meatballs are cooked through.
We completed this meal with some french bread {also toasted on the grill},fresh watermelon and kebab dipping sauces. We used pesto and red sauce for dipping but a garlic oil or Alfredo sauce would also be amazing.

The awesome pictures look delicious! Great idea of making meat ball skewers with all the sauces. The recipe looks quiet simple with basic ingredients. I found it an easy and simple recipe when unexpected guests show up or when you want to make something quickly on the grill. Thank you so much for this recipe! I’ll be grilling these coming weekend!!!
