I haven’t really met an ice tea I didn’t like! When the weather starts to warm up in the spring my ice tea season begins and lasts all summer long. Ice tea is the perfect companion to any summer meal and today I’m sharing this delicious grilled tea recipe along with my tasty veggie pasta salad. Fruit and ice tea go great together and the combination of flavors in this tea are a true celebration of summer.
With this grilled peach tea and veggie pasta salad you can easily whip up a summer lunch for any summer entertaining moment. These would be great for both a big potluck party or just lunch with a friend. My sister and I made these for our family lunch this week and both were a huge hit!
Okay, lets get to the recipes! You can go grab the veggie pasta salad recipe HERE. It’s the perfect recipe for using Barilla pasta which brings Al Dente perfection to every pasta meal. This grilled peach tea recipe is easy to make either just a bit or a big batch so you can easily adjust to fit your needs. I was making for my family lunch so we used the Gold Peak tea six pack for our ice tea. In addition to the tea, you will need peaches, honey and vanilla bean syrup. I used the sweet tea for my recipe, but you can use your favorite flavor. You can check out Gold Peak Tea for more delicious summer recipes…
Grilled Peach Tea
Ingredients
Instructions
Brush on glaze and grill on both sides.
Doesn’t this look amazing? These are really good just like this, but amazing in the tea!
Chop the grilled peaches into tiny pieces, then pour into the tea. You can add straight into the bottle or pour the bottles into a larger container to mix.
After you have the peaches in the tea, refrigerate to chill. While the tea is chilling you can whip up a batch of Veggie Pasta salad. These two are a great simple summer lunch. [mpprecipe-recipe:60]
YUM, right? Use a fat straw to drink your tea and you can enjoy the grilled fruit with every sip. Garnish with a peach slice on your glass if you want to really impress your lunch company {wink}
I bought the ingredients for this fun summer lunch at Walmart. You can find both Gold Peak Tea and Barilla Pasta, plus all the other items easily at your local Walmart. There are great deals for both this summer. Get 1 off when you buy any two (2) 64 fl oz bottles of Gold Peak Tea on Coupons.com This is a larger bottle of tea { I bought the small ones in a 6-pack, but this size would be great if you are preparing for a large group!}
Also there is an Ibotta offer for Barilla – Buy 3 products and earn $1. Valid on all Barilla Blue Box Products and Barilla Pesto Sauce.
What are you grilling up this summer? Peaches? Hot dogs? Gourmet Burgers? I’d love to hear what you’ve been making.
