Let’s talk about how to grill broccoli and brussel sprouts! {or is it brussels sprouts?} The answer is… it’s so so easy!! We’ve been not turning on our air conditioner {even though it’s hot} because it cools down so nice at night… for this reason I’m really trying to limit my oven use. I made roasted broccoli and brussel sprouts all the time this winter, and not here’s my summer version! Grilled brussel sprouts and broccoli…
How to Grill Broccoli and Brussel Sprouts-
This amazing platter was our dinner earlier in the week… Several weeks ago my husband came home from a school event with a HUGE pan of Chipotle rice… Probably like 10 lbs of it! I bagged it and froze it and we’ve been enjoying lots of meals with tasty rice… The grilled veggies {broccoli and sprouts} were so so good with the rice and steak. Have you ever grilled fresh veggies? What are your favorites? These two are mine {for now…}
You will need some strong tin foil {some actually say for grilling} A bag of Brussel Sprouts and Broccoli pieces.. I love the Costco organic bags! Cut off the bottom of each sprout, and then slice 3/4 times in thin slices.
Cut the broccoli in small bit size pieces. Make a pile of both on a piece of foil. Sprinkle a bit of olive oil and salt/pepper.
Fold up the sides and end of the foil to make a packet. Each of mine is mixed veggies.
After heating the grill on high, reduce to medium heat, place the foil packs on the grill and close the lid.
After about 15 min, open and stir the veggies. Close the packs back up and cook another 10 min. 25/30 min total cooking time.
