Here’s how our family games go… the adults play boring {and super fun!} adult games like bean bags, golf ball toss, crochet, carpet ball, and bocce…. We are SUPER competitive, but also have a super fun time {mostly!} {Sometimes my brothers get a little crazy!}while the kids just mostly play together.

 This year we put together a list of activities and challenges that the kids had to complete as well. We made them non-competitive, but they all had to do each one, with a reward at the end of the weekend. So… here are 12 fun summer activities for kids to do..
1. Ride a bike {make a preset distance or time}
2. Run around the house {we had 5 times}
3. Find treasures in a sand box {we buried old poker chips}

 4. Run through the sprinkler {however many times you decide}
5. Wear an ice necklace. Take a shaped ice-cube tray and a ribbon. Tuck the ribbon into each cube while freezing… when frozen you can wear it!

 6.Hit 5 golf balls in the yard {with kiddie clubs or dads}
7. Walk a balance beam {2×4} while carrying water. If you fall off you have to start over.

 8. Roast a marshmallow {and eat it} or make popsicles {and eat one}, or any other summery treat that involves making…
9. Transfer water using sponges from one bucket to another. We did a team effort… all working together.

11. Hit a baseball 5 times {have an adult pitch} or any other sporty activity
 12. Water Balloons at a target {or Uncle, HA!!!}
