Want to make a cute color blocked shirt? Here’s the tutorial.
So it was barely above freezing the day we did the photo shoot. I had put it off for days, and then we ran out of time. I love the bleak look of the scenery in contrast with the colorful shirts, but it was COLD – and you can see it on their faces in many of the photos.
Rose’s cute top is a cheater method of making a V neck. I love knit necklines, but V necks still scare me. I’ll be sharing a tutorial soon for this easy way to create a V neckline. I love all the ruffles too!
Remember when I made these felt circle garlands in all the colors of the rainbow? You can find that easy sewing tutorial here.
And now for some out-takes… It was a really rough start and cold… but we pulled it together for some fun photos. The best ones are over on my submission post for voting on Run and Play – so go take a look and vote now!

These are so fun and colorful! The ruffles are a fun look, too.
My poor children froze for my PRP season and we got 2 feet of snow.

Love how colorful these are. Love the stripes and the ruffles. Your kids are great models , I have a hard time taking pictures of just one kid in the cold. Great job!
