I’m so exciting to be sharing this simple pencil skirt pattern by Simple Simon and Co. Today they are hosting a Skirt-a-thon to promote this simple sewing pattern and get more people sewing with knits.
Simple Pencil Skirt Pattern-
I love sewing with knits, but to some knits are so scary. This pencil skirt is a great place to start if knits make you nervous. I used a French Terry for my skirt and it’s so comfortable. You can make these skirts with a yard or less for all the sizes, and for my size S I used about 3/4 yard. Oh and I should mention that I shortened the pattern by about 3 inches since I’m not very tall and I didn’t want it past my knees…
I think this comfy skirt will get a lot of wear this fall/winter. I want to try it with leggings during the cooler months. If you want to see more versions of this cute skirt hop over to Simple Simon and Co.
Here are a few other skirt patterns I’ve shared before.

Oh I love these! I may need to get my sewing machine out and give it a try. 😀

I love pencil skirts although these days I don’t wear skirts that often. Thanks for sharing your idea with us at #overthemoon link party and have a great day!

Such a cute skirt!! The only thing I don’t like about sewing with knit is trying to find knit at a reasonable price. Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty hope you will join us again this week.
