My husband works at a private school, and the perk for us is that our kids get a discount. My oldest has been in school for three years and my youngest started this year. I have been blown away by my son’s teachers. They are amazing!! The whole school creates an amazing culture, but the individual teachers give extra! The preschool is set up so the kids have the same teacher for two years… and this year my youngest has the same teacher as my older son did. We are on year three with the same amazing teacher!
Thanksgiving Teacher Gift basket
The boys and I put this basket together to say THANK YOU to their teacher who has given so much to our family. I had the boys help me with this project. We took leaves and used washi tape to attach a piece of Extra Gum to each one. {note: our leaves didn’t like the tape, so we had to use a dab of glue as well…I don’t think this would be the case with all plastic leaves, but I just wanted to give this top in case you have the same issue} Then, we wrote one thing on each leaf… on thing we were thankful for.
I wrote a bunch of things I appreciated about their teacher, and I had the boys write things they love about her too! One of the things that means so much to me as a mom is that she posts tons of photos every week. She makes the extra time to take and share around 100 photos of the class every week. SO wonderful.

Here are a few of the leaves. Who gives extra in your life ?? And what do you appreciate about them?
Grab a basket and this Free Teacher Printable. You can put together a great basket in just a few minutes. This gift not only gives you some super fun gum, it also is full or reminders… of all the ways we are thankful.
You can also tuck a few packs of gun in the basket. I used one pack for the leaves and added another full one just for fun.
We hope the awesome teacher in our life enjoys this little thank you for all the extra work she does! Do you have someone who gives extra in your life?
