I’ve been thinking a lot about refashioning this week. Earlier I shared my pants to skirt refashion... and upcycling adult sweaters for kids clothes. So today I thought I would follow the theme and share these super creative ways to patch pants. Adding patches to pants are a great way to extend the life of pants/leggings or pjs. They don’t just have to be functional either, make your patches super creative and adorable. Enjoy! AND… if you’ve done some creative patching, I’d love to hear your ideas too.

You can add patches to leggings before or after you make or buy them. These fun painted knees are perfect for adding a fun details AND making the knees stronger… Design Mom has all the cute details.
Here is another option for leggings… Vinyl!! I have a pair of my daughters that I am going to vinyl the knees tomorrow! Delia Creates made some cute ones!!
Small Fry Blog – Patch Leggings to make store bought leggings unique! AND they keep the knees lasting longer. When you play hard like my daughter leggings can wear out pretty quick.

This is awesome, lots of great ideas for patching up those holes. This is always a dreaded moment for me and these fun ideas will make it more of an adventure.
When I was a kid I remember my step mom embroidering over holes in my jeans with flowers, those were always my favorite jeans to wear.
