Happy Monday! Just showing off a little sewing project I made over the weekend. I’ve had the Swoon cardigan pattern printed for weeks, then decided that Rose needed something similar too. I forgot a piece to my tripod when we went out to take photos… so these are credit to my five year old…in all their tilted, slightly blurry glory {ha!}
The swoon cardigan is FREE {and awesome!} and comes in sizes s-xxl. Rose is wearing the Hey June Greenpoint Cardigan which I got in a bundle sale awhile ago. She is wearing a size 2 and looks like it will fit all fall/winter.
The Swoon Scarf Cardigan is so easy to sew and I just used a rolled-hem stitch on all the un-finished edges, so that went really fast. I rounded some of the pointed corners on the hem so I could just keep my rolled hem rolling.
The girls Greenpoint cardigan has raglan sleeves and I used ribbing around the bottom and neckline. I also only used one button as closure. The pattern shows several.
I love where the scarf cardigan hits on my back.
The main fabric on both cardigans is a this sweater knit from Fabric.com clearance last season.
Looks like we are ready for fall weather. And yes, Rose is eating in all these photos becuase that’s the only way to keep her standing still in these photos.
Here’s my Free Cardigan pattern.
and another Hey June raglan I made last fall.
Also, Rose is wearing the Not Just a Sunsuit pattern, you can find all the details here.
