Are you excited for the Minion Movie? Todays no sew felt minion goggles will help you get into the Minion mood while you wait.
My boys have been looking forward to the new Minion movie for months! My son Max has the same sense of humor as the Minions and watching him watch them is about the best thing ever… his laugh! They ask to watch the movie trailer online all the time. When I heard that you could get fun Minion toys in General Mills Cereal boxes we had to check it out. We eat Cheerios by the bucket-full anyway, so I was happy to pick up a couple of boxes at Walmart so the boys could get the 7th Minion toy.
They were SO excited to find this in the cereal box!
My little Minions enjoying a bit dress up fun. Are you ready to make your own no sew felt Minion goggles? You can go print the pattern here: no sew minion goggles
You will need scraps of felt. I used black, grey, yellow, white and sticky back brown. {regular brown is fine too} Cut out the pieces as directed on the pattern. You can make one or both of the goggles. CUT THE WHITE THE SAME AS THE OUTSIDE GREY CIRCLE – this is your base.
I used a black marker to add the center of the eye.
Use hot glue to put the goggles together. Start by adding the black straps to opposite sides of the single or double white goggle piece.
Add the grey on top of the white and black.
Glue the yellow to the top and bottom of goggle edges. If you used sticky brown peel and stick to the center of the eye, or use glue for regular felt.
The black felt straps should be long enough to just tie in back.
Then have fun! My little minions!
Be sure to look for the 7th Minion at Walmart!
