I haven’t done a lot for Valentines this year, besides pull our a few decorations… But… we still have a week, right? SO… you still have time to snap great photos of your kids and frame them, e-mail them, or mail them… I’ve got several Valentine Photo Art ideas to get your creative juices flowing.
So I took these photos with the intention of having a card to mail Grandparents and cute frames for my house. At this point I may just be e-mail our valentines cards, but we will see what happens today. {ha!} a few years ago we took these fun hand sign-language I LOVE YOU photos and I’ve had the frames up for years… but I broke one, so it was time to remake the project and we did it a bit differently. My first idea was to have each kids make a sign. WE LOVE YOU… and I still think it’s a great idea, but maybe if you don’t have a two-year-old.. we even gave her the easiest sign… here’s the result.
Oh she’s cheeky…
This is our best shot… Still not perfect, but this is the idea… I’m sure you could re-create perfectly with older kids. Rose’s LOVE sign is not at all correct, but she wouldn’t hold it how I showed her, or copy me…
So… I ended up having the oldest create all three… Wouldn’t this be cute with three different kids? Hopefully in the future I can get them all to cooperate!
This would be so cute as a card… just print and glue on cardstock.
Next I attempted to get my kids to all make a heart on their chest, so I could put in three frames..
I’ll take these! Considering the two-year-old couldn’t cross her arms correctly on her chest, it may have been ambitious to get her to make a heart. I’ll love these photos on my mantle though! The frames are from IKEA.
Here are a few other Valentine Photo ideas you might want to try…
This one I LOVE YOU in a single sign.
The peek through heart… I LOVE!
Or just hands making a heart… I had to get in one photo! Or at least my hands did.
Have fun and make some fun decorations and cards with these ideas!
