My family loves Asian flavored food and these baked chicken eggrolls were no exception.. they were a HUGE hit. After spending time in Hong Kong our whole family misses the Asian flavors we grew used to eating while living there. The NEW P.F. Chang’s® Home Menu sauces are perfect for us and bring us the taste we crave on those days when we miss Asian food.
We were so excited to discover the NEW P.F. Chang’s® Home Menu sauces at Walmart… Teriyaki, Kung Pao, Sesame, Soy and Mongolian are all delicious sauces you can use to make authentic Asian cuisine easy! I marinated the chicken in the Mongolian sauce before I added it to my baked chicken eggrolls AND we used the sauces for dipping afterwards. SO tasty!!
Baked Chicken Eggrolls {recipe}
I chopped the chicken up finely, then added a couple of TBS of Mongolian sauce. I let this sit for a couple of hours before I sauteed the chicken. I was able to just use the sauce it was marinating in to cook it up.
You can roll up any veggies you like in the baked chicken eggrolls, I just used pre-sliced carrots and cabbage to keep it simple.
Place your ingredients in the center of the roll, then fold in one corner, then the sides and roll. Secure the loose end with a dab of water.
Place on a greased baking sheet. I used a bit of spray oil on top of the eggrolls before they went in the oven. This helps the outside to crisp and brown on all sides.
Baked eggrolls are not quite as crispy as fried eggrolls, but the flavor is still amazing and will totally tasty dipping sauces we had a great family lunch.
