As I was looking for a new ornament to make this year, I was looking back on ornaments I had made in the past few years. It was so fun to see all the ornaments that I have made in the past few years, and I realized that in the past three years almost all the ornaments used the Artspira app for design! I’ve made ornaments with embroidery, vinyl, sublimation, cutting and more – all using the Artspira app. Today I’m going to show you all those ornaments and give you inspiration for making your own ornaments using this app.

First up, let’s start with talking about what the Brother Artspria app is! If you already love this app, like it do, then skip ahead for ahead for ornament tutorials. This app is an one-stop shop for all your ornament making this season. It’s FULL of free designs for all machines, and also has a monthly subscription offering access to even more designs.

I love that the app shows you EVERYTHING up front, even the premium designs, so you can decide if you want to upgrade. See a design you have to have? Upgrade to get access! It’s month by month as well, so aren’t locked in. There are also designs that are available for purchase as individual designs. {Some Disney designs, and ones by contributing artists}

For all machines – cutting, sublimation and embroidery – the easy WIFI transfer is one of my favorite features.

The app also includes a full editor for cutting, embroidery and printing. It’s easy to arrange, edit and create right in the app. I use this feature all the time for creating designs and using the built in fonts.

Christmas ornaments using the Artspira App

I love love love making ornaments! Each Christmas season I make one or two new designs and add them to our tree or give them as gifts to family and friends. I’ve found that the Artspira app is full of designs to create beautiful Christmas ornaments. Below you will find links to all the ornament tutorials, but I’m going to highlight a few here as well.

I’ve used many many designs from within the app, but I’ve also used the app to import my own design and just used the layout editor in the app for sublimation. I used my design {through the app} for the front of the ornaments, then a print from within Artspira for the back… so so cute!

I also love using the embroidery designs for ornaments! There are some that are made to be ornaments, and some you can use part of the designs to create a fun ornament. This project here I only stitched the outside outline of the design.. there was more to it, but I didn’t stitch that part.

You can also use the app for just getting fun fonts/ or font designs.. For the glitter letter ornaments I used a front from within the app, and for these mini hoop ornaments I used front from Artspira, and the text editor to create the rounded design.
