A few years ago I saw a fun birthday shirt like the one I’m going to share with you today. I thought it was so fun for kids and kept wanting to create my own design based on the one I saw. Today, I’ve got just that for you. A free awesome birthday shirt. You can customize for any age, I’ll show you how.

My contribution to this months SVG group is this awesome birthday shirt. Customize this shirt in colors and age to use for both boys and girls. It’s easy to change out the number… I’ll show you how below the download. You can also check out this tutorial for how to customize an SVG design.

Use the button below to download this file in SVG-PNG-JPG-PDF. The button will open a download window and you can save the .zip file to a location of your choice. Unzip the file to use any of the file types.

Awesome year old download

Ok! The design comes with the age 8 on it, but it’s easy to edit. I’ll walk you through for both the ScanNCut and Cricut here.

Upload the SVG design to canvas workspace or Design space. Open or expand the layers and you will see that the 8 is a layer all by itself.

Select the 8 layer and delete it.

Use the text editor to find a similar font and add a new number into the empty space.

Now your new design is ready to cut. It’s just that simple to swap out the number for the age you need to make this design.

Other awesome vinyl craft ideas

What machine do you use for your svg crafting? I use a Brother Scan N Cut, and I love the ability to scan in any design and then cut it right there. You can find out more about using a Brother Scan N Cut Here.

And my very favorite type of crafting with free cut files is to make custom t-shirts. I’ve made shirts for theme days at school, fun shirts for my kids friends, and so many more heat transfer vinyl.
