inside: get a glimpse inside the Brother Experience 2023 and see the new machine line up for 2024 as well. Amazing new innovation from Brother for sewing and crafting.
This past week I was invited to attend the Brother Experience in Austin, Texas. While this event is put on for Brother dealers and retailers, the ambassadors are invited as well for help with the event. As a Brother Ambassador for the past few years, it’s been amazing to get an inside look on the event.
My experience at Brother Experience 2023
Ok! I’ve got a quick recap for you, plus a look at what I wore each day AND a summary of the new machines from Brother. I had to take a bunch of photos with the fun signage and posters they had around the hotel conference area. The kick-off dinner Sunday night was a blast learning about all the new machines that Brother has for the year.
I was placed in the test drive room for the week. This year we had a huge room where all the Brother machines were set out for dealers to try and ask questions about the machines. There was so many amazing conversations and learning that went on during the week.
I was assigned to the ScanNCut desk for the week and I had so much fun. This is a photo of me at the desk AND a view of what I got to look at for the week.
Wendy {The Weekend Quilter} and Nephi {Designer Daddy} were two other ambassadors assigned to the test drive room. We had a blast during the week.
Do you have friends who love to talk about sewing? These are those people for me! We literally spend the whole week talking about sewing ideas, designs, machines and techniques… Most of use wore clothes that we made during the week and it was so fun hanging out with this talented group. The Brother Ambassador crew is so much fun.
Those of us in test drive got to play/sew on the machines. here we are checking out the new straight stitch machine… it’s SOOO fast and strong. We also had a blast dressing up for dinner!
What I wore at Brother experience…
Speaking of wearing clothes that I made, here are all the outfits that I wore for the week. They were all made using free sewing patterns {mine or ones I found} I’ll give you links to all these patterns so you can sew these fun outfits if you want as well!
Sunday during set up/work time I wore my knit romper in a blue rib knit. For the evening kick-off party I wore this that I made from a free Minerva/Mccalls dress pattern. My strappy wedge sandals are from Amazon here.
I don’t know what happened with the blue color here of the photos, but You can still see what I’m wearing. On Monday I wore my tank dress free pattern with a cardigan {that I’ve had for a million years} Tuesday I wore a fun skirt {with pockets!} and an oversized crop tee. Both the skirt and top are free patterns available on my site.
Tuesday night we had a fun celebration party and I wore this free dress I made from a Peppermint Magazine pattern. Wednesday for the final day I wore this sweatshirt dress that was so cozy and cute. It’s also a free pattern/tutorial here.
