One of the gifts that I made this Christmas is this Tree Growth Chart. I had so much fun with this project. From picking out the material, laying it all out, making the ornaments and giving them away! The idea is that each Christmas you measure how tall you little one(s) are and place an ornaments with their initials at that height.

Here’s what the layout looks like when taped together… You can cut two layers of green for each section OR just cut one of the larger template line. Layout the paper, if you want your tree taller, cut the felt longer at the flat top of each piece… you can extend the tree this way. The pages are numbered-two in each row

A pocket on the back holds the ornaments.
Here’s a peak at a few… I made enough for fifteen for each child in the house of each recipient. I figure some kids are already a few years old and some will be off the chart by their teens anyway. I hand stitched each ornament and just told everyone to hot glue them to the tree.
I ended up having to do more sewing than I had planned. I wanted to just glue the yellow ribbon to each side, but the glue showed through the satin, so I had to sew it down the side. AGAIN>>>>Here is the printable template for you to use… DOWNLOAD HERE for tree and ornament template
