I’m joining several other fabulous ladies today in a great Christmas Mantel post. Well, I don’t have a mantel… I would love one someday, but not in this apartment! {want to see a house tour? check out these posts} SO I don’t have a mantel, but I do have a lovely display of Christmas photos in Christmas frames. Today I’m going to be sharing a some tips for decorating with Christmas photos and frames.
A couple of years ago I bought a bunch of Christmas frames on clearance at Kohls after Christmas… My goal was to slowly fill them with beautiful photos of family during the holidays. Before I had photos, I filled them with fun Christmas word art.. you can find free printables here. I still have a few with word art left.. but most have now been filled with photos… One of my favorites is below in the middle… my youngest son sitting on his Grandpa’s lap by the tree…. It doesn’t get more Christmas than that!
I have our yearly photos from Santa’s lap… and a photos of our family by the tree from a few years too. The one of my oldest in the hat I knit is a favorite of mine.
In addition to the frames, I have a few candles and my collection of Christmas Angels… the combination of these together completes my fake “mantle”. It’s actually the top of our tv cabinet. So… this Christmas… hit the after holiday sales and grab up some frames!! Then start collecting photos and decorate! You can put them on your mantel… or just fill a shelf like mine if you don’t have one. {like the paper chain on our tree? My son is really into decorating this year… who am I to damper the Christmas enthusiasm!?}

Great blog! Do youu have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start
my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with
a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many
options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed ..
Any suggestions? Thank you!
