inside: Make beautiful fabric Christmas ornaments from fabric scraps with this easy DIY tutorial.
I’m so excited about these new Fabric Christmas Ornaments to make yourself! They were a blast to make {and easy!} and I’m looking forward to adding them to our tree when we get it set up! We plan to put it up right after Thanksgiving and it’s a fun family event every year. Since moving to Colorado we’ve been cutting down a live tree from up in the mountains and it’s been a whole day adventure! When do you put up your tree? Okay, let’s take a looks at these Fabric Christmas ornaments to make this year!
Fabric Christmas Ornaments to make –
I’ve written make posts about DIY Christmas Ornaments, and I love adding more ornaments to the list. Here are my new fun fabric Christmas ornaments to make with glitter and fabric scraps.
Here are the supplies you will need!
Mod Podge {I used glitter}
Plaid fleece leftovers {They were from these pillows I made a few weeks ago.} Cut 1″ strips of fabric.
You can see all the step-by-step details in the video, but I’ve also got several photos here to show you how to make these DIY Christmas ornaments. I used hot glue to attach the fabric near the top hook.
Continue wrapping the fabric, covering a different part of the ornament with each turn. Stretch the fabric slightly while wrapping to keep it all laying flat.
When you have finished covering the entire ball, tuck and glue the end of the fabric. Trim if needed.
Then I covered the whole thing with glitter Mod Podge…
Sprinkle glitter in pretty Christmas colors on the fabric covered ornaments and then hang to dry.
I cut a thin piece of fabric to make a boy. You could also use ribbon.. Whatever you have on hand.
Didn’t they turn out SO cute! Are you making ornaments this Christmas? They make great gifts and I love remembering moments from each Christmas associated with ornaments I’ve made.
You could use a variety of fabrics or keep them all similar like I did.. So many options!

Incredible decorations. Thanks. what they shared. It seems to me that even a child can create them, which is why you inspire many parents to create something similar with their children on the eve of the new year and enjoy joint family activities. By the way, the photos that you attached look gorgeous, I think you should post them on Instagram and use the help of https://viplikes.net/ to increase the number of subscribers.
