It’s time again for another list of amazing free svg files. This month we are featuring sports themed files and there are some great ones. I created a fun Eat. Sleep. Repeat file for moms and my friends have designed other amazing free files as well. Check out mine below and then the complete list at the bottom of the post.
Eat Sleep Repeat Sports mom cut file
This file 100% sums up my life right now, so I just had to use this as my design this month. We go from one sports season to the next. {thankfully basketball is inside and warm right now!} I’m loving this time with my kids though. Good talks in the car, time to get to know their friends and lots of watching my kids be happy and active.
Use the button below to download the zip file containing my free cut files of the month. It comes in PDF, PNG, JPG and SVG format. The file is a .zip folder so after download you will have to unzip the folder before using.
I always open my files in a few different software interfaces to make sure it works. This file has two layers. One of the text and one of the underlayer for the text. For some reason in Brother Canvas Workspace it shows up all black. Make sure to cut one layer then the other. You can isolate the layers to only see one at a time. In Design Space for Cricut it shows as different colors and is easier to see.
How to use SVG files and what do make with them
Free svg files are amazing for so many types of crafting. I’ve used free svg files for bags, notebooks, t-shirts, organizing labels and SO much more. I recently demonstrated how I cut SO many different materials. You can find that post here: What can you cut on a ScanNCut?
I’ve made HUGE farmhouse signs with SVG files and craft vinyl. You can read more about this process and tips for using sticky craft vinyl in my post here. LARGE VINYL SIGNS DIY
What machine do you use for your svg crafting? I use a Brother Scan N Cut, and I love the ability to scan in any design and then cut it right there. You can find out more about using a Brother Scan N Cut Here.
And my very favorite type of crafting with free cut files is to make custom t-shirts. I’ve made shirts for theme days at school, fun shirts for my kids friends, and so many more heat transfer vinyl. If I had to choose only one type of project to use my free svg files with I would choose heat transfer for sure! Here are my tips for using heat transfer vinyl.
