Getting organized for school with Duck Tape®

Duct Tape School Organization

Oh Boy…. Last year when my son went off to preschool I was totally unprepared… Actually, I was prepared in all the ways I thought I should be, but what I didn’t expect was the truck load of “stuff” that my son would bring home in his backpack over the course of the year! Wow, how many paintings can one mom hang on her fridge! {grin!} So, this year I’m getting organized from the start! At the end of last school year and I went and got these great BIG sleeve folders… Duct Tape School organization ideas…

I’m dividing into sections and then at the end of the year, we will just choose the BEST artwork and papers of the year to save. As this school year starts, we are beautifying the folder with Duck Tape® from Wal-Mart. Growing up Duck Tape® was well just, Duck Tape®… Grey, boring, sticky… good for boy projects…but now, WOW its SO much more… I also love that you can buy Duck Tape at Walmart…sweet right?!? When I was there picking up all our other school supplies I threw these rolls of Duck Tape® in my cart…

I love the mustache tape!!! Adorable!! Lets take a closer look at this project. First, I used the green Duck Tape® to create TABS for each year. I’ve got last years, and one for this year all set. I’m putting the class, years and Teachers name.

I was super excited to play around with the Duck Tape® to cover the folder.  I decided to do a little weave…
