I’m a grilled cheese lover and these grown up grilled cheese sandwiches are some of my favorites! I can eat grilled cheese any old way, but spice it up like these sandwiches here and I could eat them every meal.
The key to a really great grown up grilled cheese sandwich is to start with some GOOD cheese. I love Stella® Cheeses as the base for my sandwich. They are the perfect grown up cheese to start my perfect sandwiches. I used the trademark Fontinella® cheese, Asiago and Parmesan complete the trio. 
Of course you need big girl {or boy} bread as well … Sour dough is what I used.

Ok – back to my sandwiches. All three of my sandwiches have Asiago and Fontinella® cheese on Sour Dough bread. Ideas… 1. Add pesto and avacado. 2 Add tomato and Onion 3. Add Parmesan to the buttered OUTSIDE of the bread {it browns up beautifully!} and then pickles to the inside.. I love bread and butter pickles so I used those.

There are so many variations of wonderful grilled cheese sandwiches, I think I would want to sample each of your own. We purchased a panini maker several years ago and it has become one of the most used kitchen appliances. I have had grilled cheese parties where I put out a variety of fixings and invite guests to make their own. Always a big hit. Thank you for bringing these to FF.

I’m just a basic grilled cheese sandwich lover. I don’t ever get to fancy with them, but I do think the avocado looks good, and the parmesan cheese. This is sounding so good with some soup now!

Great Idea! Grilled cheese sandwiches look so yummy for adults. I would love to eat these sandwiches. I think it would be delicious.
