This post was inspired by a practical need in my kids new bedrooms. This easy kids pillow case fix is one of the first crafty things I’m doing in the new house {besides assembling lots and lots of furniture!}
Kids Pillow Case Fix
Like I mentioned in my new house update we are busy moving in and getting the basics organized in our new place. I’ve not had a lot of time for sewing and crafting. I did find a few minutes the other day to fix my kids pillow cases because THIS drives me crazy.
Adult pillow case sets seem to come with the envelope end to keep the pillow tucked in… but I’ve found that the cute kids sheet sets do not have this function and our pillows are constantly hanging out like this… Maybe it’s just us, but I’m thinking that this it is a problem others may also have, so I’m going to show you my kids pillow case fix today.
You will need some snaps… that’s it! An easy no-sew fix. I use my KAM snapper – because it’s awesome and I use it for everything, but really any kind of snaps will do. Add 2 or 3 snaps 1″ from the edge of the pillow case and snap the pillow in tight to keep it from creeping out of the case.
I love this so much more!! What do you think? What easy tips do you have to improve the little things around your house? Sometimes these simple improvements make the biggest difference!

Fantastic idea. My 12 year old manages to wiggle his off every night as well. I’ve even made oversized pillowcases to try to prevent it. I’m going to have to break out the sewing machine! I’d love for you to share with us at Designing You!, as well. https://www.designingus.com/designing-link-party-4-september-7-2017/
