We had SO much fun with this project and wearing it afterwards… My son is really into perler beards { one weekend we spent hours creating dinosaurs!} so we had a blast with these Minion Goggles perler bead bracelets. They are fun to make and fun to wear, so get creating!!
Here’s the video tutorial with all the details on how to make cute bracelet.

I’m going to write out the instructions here too so you don’t have to re-watch the video over and over while creating a Minion Goggles perler bead bracelet. You will need a large perler bread board and lots of beads. We used purple, white, black, brown. You may also use grey and yellow for these Minion Goggles.
1. Create goggles {or any other design} on the board.. if making the goggles, you can copy mine here..
2. Place wax paper over the bread and use an iron to melt. Don’t melt too long or your will melt your board {I’m speaking from experience!}
3. Cool and peel off the board, place the bracelets between another later of wax paper and iron until nice and flat. The bread will be completely melted now.
4. While still hot, and with a hot pad or towel, wrap the bracelets around something round – we used a toilet paper tube.
5. cool completely and remove from tube and remove the paper.
6. you can use as a cuff just like this, but I knew with my boys it would fall off. So we heated a nail/screw and made a hole near each bracelet end. Thread with elastic thread so it can still stretch for on and off.
And there you go!! Awesome summer fun and summer style!!
Note: my very active 6.5 year old wore his 24/7 for several days and it did end up breaking. The plastic can snap if you are rough… I think most kids won’t have this issue, but active boys may end up with a snapped. bracelet… I guess we will just have to make more! {yeah!}

Hi Emily. I’m stopping by from the Snickerdoodle Sunday Link Party to let you know how much I love your bead bracelets. I’d love to try to make one but it is kinda a scary thought of using the iron to melt the plastic. I’m afraid I would make a huge mess and gunk up my iron. LOL. I’m pinning. Best wishes, Darlene
