So excited to share these Scan N Cut gift tags with you all today! I’ve got a free file for you to download and use in a great last minute Christmas project. It’s also useful as you get ready to wrap all those gifts you have been making and buying all month.  I think I’m finally done shopping, so now it’s time for wrapping which is why I made this project this week. These Scan N Cut gift tags are the perfect finish to your packages and gift bags. 

Wrap up your gifts and then add a cute tag for the final touch. This tag has the first font I tried… not sure why it wouldn’t draw clearly, but I changed it for the rest of my tags and the file included here. 

These Scan N Cut gift tags turned out so cute! I’m a bit sad that my calligraphy font turned out so blurry, but I was able to change it to a better font for the gift tag. 

Here’s what the file looks like when you open it in your software. This file is only available for the Scan N Cut at this time. I’ve already set the words and holly lines as draw lines and the outside and small circle as a cut line. I would recommend using a thick paper or card stock for this project. Load the machine with your mat and paper, then select draw, and when that finishes select cut. You will need both the markers and marker holder, plus the blade for this project.

• Card stock or thick paper
• Scan N Cut blade and markers

Instructions

1. download the free SVG Gift Tag file.
2. open in Brother Canvas and send to your machine
3. place paper on mat and load into your machine
4. open file on Scan N Cut and select draw - then start
5. when drawing is finished change to blade and select cut.
6. pull gift tags off of mat and repeat until you have as many tags as you want.
