I love Michelle’s blog and love seeing what she sews! I was so excited when she signed up for Sew Many Books… I’m not familiar with this book and can’t wait to check it out. ENJOY! Have you entered the giveaway?? If you have sewn anything book inspired this year, link it up here!
Hey everyone! I am Michelle and you can find me over at Falafel and the Bee.
I am thrilled to be a part of this series. So much.
When I was thinking of books we love, my mind wandered to the early years when our children were small. There were so very many beautiful picture books that we treasured and read over and over and over. And even though our girls are 8 and 14, and we read many many wonderful books now, I couldn’t shake the nostalgia I was feeling for all of those books that came before. The ones that reeled us in to reading in the first place. Our foundation books.
Bear in a Square by Stella Blackstone was one of my all time favorites to read to my babies. It is colorful and happy. Everything I think childhood should be. I love how it is rendered to teach little ones colors and shapes. It always made me smile.
This is my Falafel (not her real name, of course). I was a little worried about making something this bright for my 8 year old, but she LOVES it.
This whole outfit was made using Riley Blake Fabrics (even the polka dotted lining!) that they generously supplied me with. HOW AWESOME IS THAT??!!
If you would like to see more details about this fabulously vibrant outfit, click on over to my blog. See you there!
Thank you Emily, for including me in the series!!
Head over to Michelle’s blog and check out all the other outfits too!
