inside: make sibling t-shirts with a fun iron on vinyl design for sister and brothers.
We’ve had our daughter home for a month exactly… wow! Time flies. Overall the adjustment has been better than we were expecting, so that is a huge blessing. If you haven’t read our adoption story you can catch up here.
While we were in China picking her up we had a little photo shoot with these fun sibling t-shirts that I had made for them. The boys shirts are from my own pattern and I’ll be releasing it as a free pattern later this summer. The girl shirt is GYCT designs. Today I’m also sharing the free cutting file for the BIG BRO and LIL SIS iron ons if you have a cutting machine. {I love mine, by the way!} Here’s a link to check out the Scan N Cut if you are interested. You can use the svg file below straight into the software OR print the pdf and scan it into the machine.
We still feel like it hasn’t really sunken in… we have THREE kids and I have a DAUGHTER! wow! I do love these three kiddos with all my heart though. Here’s what the cut file will look like after you download it from HERE. You can print a pdf and trace or use the svg file. If you are using heat transfer vinyl you will need to MIRROR the image so it’s right side when ironed on.
let me know if you have any questions from here. I just cut it out and ironed it on according to my iron on vinyl directions. Since I was making the shirts I did iron it on before sewing the shirt together and that made it easier.
Close up of the iron-on. I used the flocked vinyl for this project, but I just got a big order of plain heat transfer vinyl to try as well. If you don’t have a Scan N Cut and want to find out more I’d love for you to click through my link here for more details! Don’t forget to download this cute sibling t-shirt file before you go!
