It’s Christmas time! And that means Christmas movie fun! Today I’m joinig with several other bloggers to bring your crafts and recipes inspired by our favorite Christmas movies. I’ve got a fun snowflake iron-on template for you to go snowflake crazy, just like Buddy did in ELF {ha!} I’ve made a cute snowflake tunic for Rose, but you can use this snowflake template to iron snowflakes on just about anything. You could even use it with regular vinyl for mugs, plates and windows! Be sure to scroll to the bottom for links to all the other fabulous movie inspired posts.
I’m loving how this tunic turned out. From the design {it’s a sneak peak of next weeks FREE pattern! A Mommy and Me color-blocked tunic free pattern!} You can nnow get the free pattern HERE. I added gorgeous pink glitter snowflakes to the tunic to take on the essence of the movie ELF and all the fun snowflakes in that movie. You can find the free cut file for this snowflake iron-on template below. I used my Silhouette cutter, so I have a file for those of you that also have one. I’ve also included the JPEG version for those who want to cut out with another machine or with scissors.
Oh my goodness, is there anything cuter? I was so glad I had this pink glitter heat vinyl on hand, it looks so cute with colors of the tunic.
Here’s are the downloadable files for these Cute little Snowflakes. Free Cut File- A JPEG VERSION
Import to your cutting software and trace to cut…
Use this Snowflake iron-on template to snowflake all the things! I resized one of these to put the little flake on the sleeve. Here’s what they looked like cut from vinyl before I ironed on the the shirt. I used glitter heat vinyl for the shirt, but you could also use regular vinyl and put on dishes, mugs or windows for fun snow decor.
I want to make some glass baubble ornaments with these snowflakes on them and maybe a mug too! So many possibilities! Do you LOVE Elf as much as we do? I couldn’t find a clip of where Buddy makes all the snowflakes, but here is the photo that inspired this shirt..
Okay, be sure to check back next Friday for the free pattern for this tunic in both kids and adult sizes!
