Have you seen the new special happy birthday candy from Hershey? I recently discovered these fun candies and knew they would be perfect for my niece’s birthday party. My sister and I put together a fun happy birthday party with candy as the central theme. Today we’ve got birthday party decor, printables and activities to make throwing a special happy birthday candy party easy…
You can find special displays in the party aisle at Walmart {not the candy aisle} I used the Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates, Hershey’s Assorted Miniatures, Kit Kat Miniatures, and Twizzlers Pull ‘N’ Peel Candy for our party. They come in cute mini sizes and fun birthday packaging, perfect for birthday parties.
We set up a fun activity and dessert table for our party. I’ve got a free game printable PIN THE CANDY ON THE PARTY HOUSE, Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates memory game and a CANDY PATTERN PRINTABLE. You can grab the free printables by clicking on the name of the game.
Let’s take a closer look at the games! For the pattern game go PRINT the sheet. Pass out candy and papers and have each person figure out which candy comes next in the pattern. You can also create your own gameboard with real candy pieces like the picture.
The memory game is so easy to make! Take colored paper and glue to the bottom of each Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates. There should be two of each color. Set the Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates color down on the table and take turns trying to make a match of the colors.
The other fun activity for the candy party is a spin on the game “pin the tail…” instead trying to pin candy on the doors and windows of our party house. You can PRINT the house graphic… piece the house together and glue to a poster board. Blindfold each person, and place some tape on the back of the candy. Try to pin the candy on the windows of the house… It’s fun to see where the candy actually ends up {ha!}
The final candy element of this party is the Twizzlers Pull ‘N’ Peel Candy Happy Birthday Sign… Sketch out the words on a poster board and use the Twizzlers Pull ‘N’ Peel Candy {two strands at a time} to create the words. Use hot glue or craft glue to stick the candy to the poster board.
You can use this idea to write any words you want!
There you go! Everything you need to make your own super fun special candy birthday party with activities and dessert table. You can find more information on Hershey’s Birthday candy and Birthday parties with Hershey HERE.
