Ok.. let’s make a cute Ice Cream Applique shirt to go with our delicious dessert..
Go print the cute ICE CREAM APPLIQUE {or find your own, any print will work}. You’ll also need a shirt and some fabric scraps.
Cut out each part of the applique, then cut from fabric.
Pin to the shirt, just as you want it to look. TIP: pin a piece of paper to the back of the shirt when you pin the applique, this will stabilize everything.
Use just a straight stitch to got around each piece.
Trim any excess fabric from the outside of the stitching.
Set to the widest zig-zag stitch with the stitch length number very low. Sew slowly around each piece. The cherry on top was a bit tricky with the tight curve, but I made the zig-zag narrower and went slow.
I just used a regular stitch to add the cherry stem to the top… there you go! A cute and easy shirt to celebrate your love of ice cream..

I’ve never had a fresh fig either, but Breyers Vanilla reminds of me of my grandparents. It’s an awesome ice cream they loved and I ate at their house. Thanks for sharing on Family Joy Blog Link-up. Please come back and join us again!
