And now, here’s how to create your own frozen pineapple snack. It’s so refreshing and easy too! {side note: I’m totally jealous of my son’s eyelashes!}
My boys had a ton of fun with these photos {and that isn’t always the case!} They are huge fans of frozen foods {of all kinds} so this frozen pineapple on a stick was a hit. I need to make it again soon!
To make you will need some bamboo sticks and a whole fresh pineapple {canned works too, I’ll share about that later on}. Cut off the out pineapple and take out the center. Then cut the pineapple into 8ths.
Stick each one.. I pushed the stick all the way through, but not out the top.
Lay on a lined baking sheet {not touching} and put in freezer for at least 2 hours. {longer is fine}
If working with canned, here is how I stuck it to freeze. Remove from the freezer and enjoy!!
what is your favorite healthy summer treat? I’m always looking for more ideas.

Huh. I never would have thought to freeze pineapple. Thank you! My own boys are too old for pineapple on a stick now, but the 21 year old is a huge pineapple fan. I’ll ask him if he’d like this. 🙂

We have had frozen grapes, cherries, watermelon, blueberries and bananas. I’ve never tried pineapple though. My girls love to eat it, and we like it in smoothies, so I think we will try it out!

My kids have been obsessed with making their own popsicles out of everything they can think of – punch, smoothies, yogurt, etc. Now they can add pineapple to their list 😉
Thanks for sharing with us at the #HomeMattersParty
