I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, but I love appetizers! If I could live on only appetizers I would be one happy girl. Easy appetizers are even better for me, and this Taco Dippers Appetizer is easy and so tasty. The Pace® Salsa adds the perfect flavor to any filling you choose, and you can customize your ingredients. This appetizer is perfect for any upcoming game time party you may be planning. Whether just your family or a huge bash, these dippers will be a touchdown at your next party!
I’ve use Pace® Salsa Medium as both an ingredient inside my dippers AND as one of the dips, for those who like an extra kick! Pace® Salsas and Picante Sauces are the perfect way to #KickUpTheFlavor at your next party. I used eggroll wrappers and then filled with salsa, cheese, beans and corn, then I BAKED the rolls {not fried} and ended up with these taco dippers appetizers that are crunchy and delicious and easy! {the perfect combo!}
Here’s how you put them together. Thaw your frozen eggroll wrappers as directed on the package and prepare your fillings. Here are a bunch of options you can pick from. Black beans, corn, mozzarella cheese slices, diced avocado, chopped green or red onion, cooked/shredded chicken and cheddar cheese in any combinations would make yummy dippers.
I started with the cheese, a small spoonful of Pace® Salsa Medium , then topped with corn and beans. Don’t put too much filling inside or it will be larger {like an eggroll} I was going for the thin roll look. Fold in the sides, then roll from the bottom, you might need a bit of water to secure the ends.
Heat oven to 425F {220C} and lightly grease a cookie sheet with baking spray. Place rolls on sheet, then spray the rolls with cooking spray. Bake for about 10 min {or until slightly browned} Remove from cookie sheet so they don’t get soggy on the bottom and serve with your favorite Mexican type dips. You should plan about 4 rolls per person.
I had sour cream, Pace® Salsa, and homemade guacamole for dipping . Here’s my favorite guac recipe {which actually uses Salsa for the flavoring.} Make up a few dozen dippers for your next football party and let the dipping begin.
You can find Pace® Salsa and all the other ingredients for Taco Dippers at your local Walmart. One stop shopping and easy party planning.
You can grab Pace® by the bottle in a variety of texture and heat levels for every taste preference. The genuine southwest flavor will bring a kick to any recipe or dip you make with it.
Here are a few other Mexican inspired recipes I’ve shared in the past.
