TUNA SALAD SANDWICH{ Copycat Panera Bread }
Hello Everyone!
It’s Aniko, from Place Of My Taste.
I am so glad to be back with a super healthy recipe for you guys!
Since this is my very first appearance here at Nap-Time Creations this year, let me wish all of you a great and successful 2014!
Did you perhaps made some sort of new year’s resolution?
If eating healthy is one of them, then this Tuna Salad Sandwich recipe will serve you well!
Tuna Salad Sandwich is one of my favorite lunch choice. When I am so busy and can not get home in time, my choice is usually Panera Bread for healthy lunch. The recipe that I am sharing today is a copycat of their tuna salad recipe.
Panera serves their tuna salad on sesame semolina bread, which I did not try to make yet, but on my list.
INGREDIENTS
1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained
1 teaspoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon Dijon-style prepared mustard
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
1.Mash tuna in a small bowl with a fork.
2.Add mayonnaise, pickle relish, mustard, celery, onion, and black pepper; stir to combine.
3. Chill and serve.
Recipe adapted from: Panera Bread at home
I usually serve it on whole wheat bread and it is very tasty with it.
Sometimes I toast the bread just a little bit before I add the salad on it.
Add some onion slices and tomato as well as romaine salad for best flavor!
Enjoy this fantastic and healthy sandwich!
