So even though I didn’t make it to the next round, I already had my KIDS CAN DO craft ready to go. I’m going to share it with you today as well as ALL THE PRINTABLES needed to make your own! See the bottom of the post for the links to the printables.
I had so many ideas for this weeks challenge… In the end I decided on a project that I had been meaning to make for awhile. I love the idea of having a calendar for kids to learn days, months, numbers, weather, seasons, and even appropriate clothing choices! Here’s what I came up with…

The Base is laminated paper and all the removable pieces are also laminated. This baby should last awhile! I created printables for all these pieces so it can be recreated again if I want to make more of them.

I put “Good Morning” greetings from around the world at the top.

Each day, month, date, weather, and piece of clothing is attachable with a magnet to the board.

Clear pockets on the front of the board hold the spare pieces in clear pockets for easy finding and placing.

Looks like we need to start with how to recognize words right side up before we move onto days of the week! Umm, yep… I do know that Friday is not October 20th… noticed this after the photoshoot, opps!
