Okay, I’m just starting to think forward and am realizing that Christmas/December will be here before I know it! I’m on the look out for guest bloggers to share in my Delightful December posts. This December will feature posts on cooking, crafts, and Pinterest Boards! (blogger needs to update their spell check, PINTEREST is always underlined as spelled wrong!)
Do YOU have a new (or old) post you want to share?
A pin board on a Christmas theme (Stockings, trees, gifts, etc?) E-mail me at Thompsone@ics.edu.hk to schedule your December post! Spaces are already filling up!
On to other news… here in Hong Kong we have no fabric stores… I drool over stories of Joannes, and Michaels and Hobby Lobby posted on other blogs. We do have some great fabric markets here, I just have to get to them. Monday I loaded up the boys in our double stroller, armed with snacks and toys, ready for the adventure. We traveled the 40 min. by public transport to my favorite market and the trip was s success, check out my loot! Lots of Christmas and fall sewing goodness! I can’t really share what each piece is going to be, because a lot are for gifts… in time…
Here’s a peek into our adventure..
searching through carts piled high!!
A whole block dedicated to fabrics!
My boys being pretty happy shoppers
On the way home, stroller loaded down with fabric!
A bead store we passed along the way…
Where is your favorite place to shop? How do the kids do? (I have lots of memories of waiting for my mom in the fabric store!) Christmas gift/sewing season is gearing up!!!

Wow! Now YOU are a shopper. My wee one and I are regulars at our local bookstore on Sunday. We hang out in the play area, have a coffee and pick out a treat we can share during the week.

This looks like so much fun, and you are so brave to do this with two youngsters! They look well behaved though! My daughters still tell funny stories of waiting for me to shop in fabric stores when they were small.

This looks like Heaven for my D.I.Y. page on my blog! I anvy you so much! My family is not very arty so everytime I imagine a project I need to either scrape our wardrobes to the bottom or go shopping and it’s not cheap… However, your strolers looks like mine after shoe-shopping! 🙂

Wow! That market looks like an adventure. I would love to visit a place like that. I live in Puerto Rico. Here we have some small fabric stores, but nothing like that market.
I found this post through the Tuesday Talent Show @ Chef in Training.
