Inside: grab one of these fabulous free cut files for school and make something amazing. So many crafty and cute projects to craft for back to school.
Ahhhh back to school is coming WAY too fast. Summer always goes fast and I’m really trying to slow down all the moments and enjoy them. There are certain things I don’t mind working on now, and one of those is crafting for back to school. I do love the preparation, even if I’m not ready for the actual start!
Free cut files for back to school –
Today I’m super excited to share a NEW project from me, as well as a whole list of back to school crafts from my crafty friends. I’m sharing a brand new felt pencil cup project {with free cut file!} and there is a whole list of free files at the bottom of this post.
Isn’t this pencil cup so cute? It is so easy to make as well. I sewed some of pieces together, but you can make the whole project with hot glue as well. Use this layout to glue/sew the pieces together after cutting. I also cut two of the bottom circles to make the bottom more stable.
I’m so excited to make more of these pencil cups, but cut different types of flowers in different colors. Need help cutting thick fabric like this felt? Check out this post on my different things the ScanNCut can cut.
I would also make sure you have at least 2-3 mm thick felt. Here is where I got mine.
Download the zip file using the button below to head to my shop. The .zip file contains SVG-PNG-PDF-JPG files for your use.
Time to get making! My daughter is so excited to have this one her desk and I’m planning to make a few more for her teachers.

What else can you make with cut files?
Free svg files are amazing for so many types of crafting. I’ve used free svg files for bags, notebooks, t-shirts, organizing labels and SO much more. I recently demonstrated how I cut SO many different materials. You can find that post here: What can you cut on a ScanNCut?
I’ve made HUGE farmhouse signs with SVG files and craft vinyl. You can read more about this process and tips for using sticky craft vinyl in my post here. LARGE VINYL SIGNS DIY
What machine do you use for your svg crafting? I use a Brother Scan N Cut, and I love the ability to scan in any design and then cut it right there. You can find out more about using a Brother Scan N Cut Here.
And my very favorite type of crafting with free cut files is to make custom t-shirts. I’ve made shirts for theme days at school, fun shirts for my kids friends, and so many more heat transfer vinyl. If I had to choose only one type of project to use my free svg files with I would choose heat transfer for sure! Here are my tips for using heat transfer vinyl.
