I haven’t sewn fall Pjs for myself in a few years, so it was time to create cozy pjs this season. I’m working on a four piece pj set for Rose and was inspired to sew pjs for myself as well. This fall pj set turned out really great and I’m so excited for it to actually cool off so I can wear it soon.

For my new pajamas I used double brushed poly and rib knit fabric both from Raspberry Creek Fabrics. The sleeves of the shirt are the same fabric as the ankle cuffs and neckband as well. Since I wasn’t sure about how much fabric I had, the waistband is made from the wide fabric salvage that was on this fabric cut.
I’m wishing for cool fall days where my life is quiet enough to drink tea in bed. However, when I took these photos it was 100 degrees out and I was sweating by the time I was finished making this. I’m really looking forward to fall now that it’s September. Have you started sewing for fall?
