Kids Clothing Week {Hangout Hoodie}
I’m excited to be sewing this week for the Kids Clothing Week fall challenge… I will tell you that I did pre-sew somethings… I just dont have time to sew everyday during a normal week {too many other “life” things get in the way!} But I am going to post FOUR {yes, I’m giving a number to keep me accountable!} new sewing projects I’ve made for my kids {or my friends kids} I’m hoping it will be my most productive Kids Clothing Week yet….
Are YOU joining in the fun? Even if you just sew one thing for a child this week, its fun to link up over at the site. There have been other challenge weeks where I just got one things done… so its okay! Isn’t my model for the day gorgeous!!! This is my dear friends’ daughter who recently did a photo shoot for ELLE! {wowza!} so I am happy to have her on my blog today. I originally made this hangout hoodie with my nephew in mind, but when I got done the orange looked too pink, so I gave it away to a girl of the right size. The shirt was cut down from an old hoodie of mine that was stretched out from nursing {honesty moment and maybe TMI, ha!} I did use the peek a boo pattern though to cut it down, since I had the pattern on hand.
Speaking of Amy from Nap Time Crafters, she is doing a skinny jean sew a long this week and I was on my list already for this challenge… so I will be joining her and hopefully posting a completed pair of jeans Friday!

    The hoodie looks super comfy 🙂 I have seen a few version of this hoodie in the blogsphere, and I really like them. They seem perfect for the in-between weather.

    I have just finished my first project for KCW. Can’t wait to show it to Little Monkey 🙂 I am 110% sure it is going to be her new fav dress 🙂
