So…When I saw this Free Pattern sew along on Project Sewn…. I dropped the project I was working on…printed this pattern, grabbed some fabric and sewed this little dress up! I really don’t sew for myself very often… I made a tunic this summer, but other than that its been awhile… I am really cutting this close for the Project Sewn link deadline, so this post will be short and sweet… maybe I’ll do a better photoshoot with more info later… anyway, here is it! My Coffee Date Dress
I’m really pleased with it and hope to sew for myself more often this year! My only change to the pattern was to add a wide elastic band to the waiste. I sewed it on {attached in the back} after the dress was finished. It just cinches in the waist a tiny bit and pulls the whole thing together.

    I love it! I wanted to sew along & didn’t have time:( I’m so glad to see yours though…you look great! I love the style of this dress. I like that you chose a neutral too…lots of styling options and it will work for fall as well. Good job!
