First, let me say…. I know school uniforms and/or dress codes can vary SO much from school to school and country to country… BUT, if you are attempting to make hand made clothes for your kids and your school does have a uniform/dress code that doesn’t require shopping at a certain store, this list of patterns may be useful to you. I tried to collect a huge list of versatile, classic patterns that may be able to fit your schools dress code. I would of course love feedback if you have other patterns to this list that have worked for you.
School Uniform Friendly Sewing Patterns –
I will provide the list below by clothing style. Many of the patterns are unisex and so I will start with shirts and pants first as they work for all, and then finish with some dress code friendly skirts and dresses.

The Skiff Tee is a fun nod to the seaman’s Breton sweaters of France. The basic shape is a wide bateau neckline and slim fit silhouette with straight or vented hems, but there is more to this tee!
