Okay, here’s more photos from the tank dress I made. I shortened the dress by about 1.5″ so that my daughter could move easier. She is so active, but likes to dress girly…. I just throw on under dress shorties, and she’s off!
I added some color blocking on the sides. You can see how I sliced the side an an angle. The pattern gives lots of options for color blocking, so many ways you can show off your fabrics!
I’m super pleased the with sporty look that was the result of my slight edits.
My little on is a tiny thing.. this is the 2T, she’s 2.5 years old and this fit her perfectly. I went my the measurements and the results were good. I love this dress allows her be active and not restricted in her movements.
I cut the pocket with pinking shears to add to the chevron look of the dress.
And there you go! We’re off riding our scooter to the next adventure… You need to head off and buy these amazing knit patterns! The options are endless! Enter to win the HUGE giveaway pack over on Sew 4 Bub and scroll to the bottom of this post to enter to win 1 pattern of your choice from me!
