I have been compensated by JOHNSON’S® Baby for this post; however, I am sharing my own thoughts. All opinions are my own. #MommyMustHaves#ad
Bath toys taking over your tub? I know ours are out of control, so I needed an easy bath toy storage bag that my kids can use themselves to help pick up. This bath toy storage bag sews up in just a few minutes and is already making such a difference in our bedtime bath routine. My boys are big enough to shower now, but my daughter still loves to take a bath with some of her favorite JOHNSON’S® Baby products and bath toys.
Bath Toy Storage Bag Tutorial-
So this is the issue I set out to fix… We love bath toys, but they are EVERYWHERE!!! Look familiar? Our new bath toy storage bag should make it easier to contain the mess..
No bath is complete without fun bath time soap and NO MORE TEARS® formula shampoo. We have JOHNSON’S® Baby rating with HEAD-TO- TOE® to feel great before putting on snuggly pjs.
Want to make your own mesh bag for the bath? I’ve got an easy sewing tutorial for you below.
You will need. 1/2 yard mesh fabric {I used thick mesh for strength}, 2 strong suction cups, and some bias tape. Cut the Mesh 18″ x 24″, you will fold in half so it’s 18″ wide and 12″ high….
On the 2 short sides {18″} finish with bias tap folded over the edge and sew with a zig-zag stitch.
Those finished edges will then be folded together like this.
Sew the side seams with a serger or tight stitch on a regular sewing machine.
Finish those edges with bias tape as well, and add a loop at the corners of the top. I tucked the end of the loop under the side bias tape.
Add your suction cups and you have a great bath bag!
AHHH I am SO excited about having this in our bath… AND it has a nice big opening so the kids can pick up all by their self… What are your bath time necessities? Bath products? Toys? I’d love to hear how you make bath time fun for your kids. You can check out all my other sewing tutorials here.
Here are a couple other very handy tutorials for bed time…

This is so great. My kids always place their toys on the end of the tub and water drips all down the outside.

Amazing ! Really helpful guideline for kids safety bath. Proper cleaning & storage of bath toy is essential for baby health, otherwise germs can attract baby. Thanks for sharing such a nice blog.
