It’s my final day of sharing here for Ornament Week. Tomorrow I’ll be sharing a big round-up of ideas from other blogs. These two ornaments are the final two I’ve made this Christmas season. These fun filled ornament ideas are sure to inspire to you make your own fill ornaments.
For these ornaments you will need clear ornaments to fill. I used both the glass version and plastic version for these ornaments. You can find them in stores or on Amazon here. {affiliate link}
The fabric scrap filled ornament is a great one for those of you who sew and have scraps of festive Christmas material that are too small for any other purpose. I cut my scraps into small strips, then rolled up each strip.
Put the rolls inside the glass ornament. The will stay slightly coiled and look so fun.
Keep going and adding more rolls of fabric. Put a variety of colors in each one.
Fill each ornament to just full, but not packed too tight.
Cut right? Give out to your sewing/fabric loving friends.
My second ornament today is one I’m going to take to an ornament exchange this year. You will need a plastic ornament that opens in half, a bunch of small colored glass baubles and a ribbon or string to put it together. I filled the plastic ornament with the colored ones to see how many would fit first.
First make your fun garland. I tied each bauble to the ribbon. It’s about three feet long.
Roll it up and put it inside the large ornament. Pretty!
This ornament is two decorations in one! Ornament AND garland!
