Every kids needs a kids project box for those ” I’m Bored ” moments!! This is another project that was a Christmas gift, but its been the gift that kept on giving. My son has had a BLAST with project box since he got it has a gift. As I mentioned in my Crayola Art post my son is super into making “projects”. The actual result he creates.. not sure what you would call them.. HE HAS FUN though, so that’s what is important. Anyway… I decided that for Christmas I would make him a project box. I filled it with a bunch of “stuff” that he could use to create.
Kids Project Box – art and activity box
You will need:
- Box {THIS is the box I wish I had!}
- Art and Craft supplies
I didn’t love the box. But it was what I found when I was looking and its very sturdy, which is what I need. I used Sharpies to write “Jacks Project Box” on the lid, filled it with goodies and wrapped it up!
Here is a little look at what I put in this project box.
Glitter Glue, pipe cleaners, small pom poms, stickers, long strips of colored paper. IKEA melty bead things.. {I don’t know what they are really called}, colored popcicle sticks, sequin shapes, glass tiles, and a few other items.
So now we have lots of creations! I have to go through the house and “discard” of those creations from time to time, but I do love the creativity! I like that he has this project box to be creative and have his own supplies. He doesn’t have to come ask for my craft things and can just create as he likes. What do your kids like to create? How do you inspire creativity?
Here are some other ideas I’ve shared-

yes, I like this because it also contains all the supplies. When i see stuff around the house I can ask him to put in in his craft box.
